2. Senior Vice-President & Chief Development Officer, National Foundation for Cancer Research (2008 – 2014).
Primarily overseeing the scientific programs and the fund raising programs (major gift, corporation & foundation, planned giving and digital fundraising programs) at National Foundation for Cancer Research (NFCR). In addition, work with the CEO and COO on other NFCR programs such as cancer research initiatives in Asia, Cancer Patient Assistance Fund and Center for Clinical Diagnostics.
3. Director, GCRC Genomics, Proteomics and Metabolic core laboratory (2001-
2007).
This laboratory is involved in i) DNA extraction from serum, tissue and cell culture and perform DNA copy number measurent and genotyping analysis. ii) Custom microarray analysis for various diseases to understand the pathophysiology, following the treatment etc. This laboratory also support the real time PCR analysis using ABI HT79000 system. iii) Proteomics analysis using tandem mass spectrometer to understand the pathophysiology of various diseases and identification of protein biomarkers for early detection of different diseases. We also support the investigators with protein, glucose and fatty acid kinetic studies in various diseases such as diabetes, various liver diseases and obesity.
4. Director, Mayo Genomic Center Microarray Core laboratory (2003- 2007).
This laboratory is involved in Microarray analysis mainly using Affymetrix platform. In addition we provide gene expression analysis using real-time PCR.
